TO DECORATE CONFECTIONERY

Here you will find out what KEEP FORM stamps are and how they can be used

KEEP FORM never stands still. After all, our task is to create in order to enable confectioners to create

What are decorating stamps?

Stamps for decorating confectionery products are a very simple, understandable and affordable tool. Simply, these are acrylic figures, with which you can make a characteristic imprint on the surface. The print can be colored or simply embossed.

The set of prints includes:

  • acrylic holder with silicone holder. It is necessary in order to make it convenient to hold the acrylic stamp.
  • acrylic figurines in various assortment. With the help of them, an imprint is made

Preparing the tool for work.

  • Attach the silicone pad to the acrylic holder
  • Attach the stamp to the silicone pad
Your tool is now ready to go. All elements of the tool must be clean and dry.

How to use stamps?

Below I will describe several options for using stamps, describe the nuances that need to be considered. They are not the only correct ones. I am sure that creativity and curiosity will find many more uses for this tool.

  1. Relief formation
  • Prepare the tool for work (as above). Do not forget that all elements of the tool must be clean and dry. This is important because a damp or dirty acrylic stamp will likely not adhere well to the silicone holder.
  • The following cake coatings are suitable for shaping the relief: fondant, creams that are well stabilized (ganache, butter cream, cheese cream).
  • If you are using a tool with creams, keep in mind that before using the stamps, it is not necessary to freeze the cake or chill it too much. The surface must be pliable. If you use the stamp on a coating that is too cold, there is a possibility of spoiling the coating.
  • Take a stamp and make an impression on the surface. Apply a little effort to ensure that the print is of high quality. It is necessary to deepen the stamp into the coating by 1-2 mm. That. a characteristic relief is formed, and the surface roughness is compensated.
  • Making an imprint on fondant is even easier.
  • Now you can paint the print with a brush or emphasize the relief by painting the protruding fragments of the print. Everything is in the hands of the master!

2 Applying a color imprint to the surface

The impression formation technique is the same as in the above method. The only difference is that before the impression is formed, it is necessary to apply a dye to the stamp.

  • Prepare the tool for work (as above). Do not forget that all elements of the tool must be clean and dry.
  • The following cake coatings are suitable for shaping the relief: fondant, creams that are well stabilized (ganache, butter cream, cheese cream).
  • Take food coloring (we used fat-soluble gel coloring)
  • Add some starch to the colour. So the colour will not roll on the surface of the acrylic stamp, and the color will be dense and saturated.
  • Paint the stamp with a brush.
  • Make an imprint.

It's as simple as one, two, three.

Stamp care and storage

  • All elements of the set can be washed in warm water using dish detergents.
  • When washing, do not use metallic sponges, so as not to damage the surface of the stamps.
  • Do not use the dishwasher for washing due to the possibility of damage to the stamps.
  • All elements of the kit should be kept clean and dry.
